Want to canoe or learn to canoe?  Join us for a leisurely paddle in Bledsoe Creek.  Paddle along a flowing creek under the shade of trees along the banks. Get out of the canoe and swim in a blue hole or just sit and watch the fish swim by.

Bledsoe Creek was once a prime hunting ground for the Cherokee Creek, Shawnee, and Chickamauga Indian tribes.  While the herds of buffalo and deer are gone, you can still see a white-tailed deer or fawn scampering through the woods along the banks of the creek.

In addition to a leisure float there are a few short hiking trails which allow you to explore the Park from the land.  The camping facilities have just been renovated and include a bath house with showers.

After a day spent canoeing, swimming, and hiking just relax next to the fire while the Wilderness Foxes fix up a delicious dinner.  After dinner enjoy some star gazing by the lake or just listening to the sounds of nature.  Join us.  Be a Fox….a Wilderness Fox.

A detail schedule will be sent to registrants.
